Connect Through Nature
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun. It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.” – Psalm 19:1-6
Connect through nature.
God created the trees and rivers for you to enjoy.
It’s time to start using God’s creation as He intended – for the restoration of your soul. It might take a bit of research, but it is worth it to find a spot where you feel closer to God by interacting with the birds, the trees, the stream.
It could be a national park, a lake, or a street that has a refreshing breeze. It could be your personal garden, or a hiking trail. Make a habit of visiting it when you crave a closer connection with God.
Research and decide on a spot where you can go to for that connection with God through His creation.
On this journey to a prosperous soul, you need to give it all it takes. Commit to making that connection today and see the world of difference it would make on your soul. Make this confession now, “my soul is refreshed as I seek God through the beauty of His creation.”
Prayer Moment
Lord, I thank You for providing all things for my benefit and for me to enjoy.
As I consider the works of Your hands, my heart rejoices and I am filled with praise all around me.
Today, I ask that You open my eyes to the beauty all around me, so that I can rest, refresh and restore my soul in Your presence in Jesus’ name. Amen!
Love,
