God Mothers and God Daughters

“Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.” – Titus 2:3-5

The whole essence of this relationship is to offer mentorship and guidance to a younger person.
Do you have these kinds of relationships in your life? Do you embrace mentors who will guide and lead you in the way that God wants you to go?

Have you also taken other women under your wings as people you can mentor and help to grow? The Bible is clear about the role of older women, and this is definitely not only ‘older’ in age, but in skills, talents, experiences and depth of spirituality.

This week check to see if there are areas where you need to embrace mentoring – either as the mentored or the mentor.
