He Sees. He Knows.

God, we have been told, is Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent.

He knows and sees all things.

But, human as we are, we sometimes forget that God sees us.

We know somewhere at the back of our minds that He can see all things, but we just are not convinced that He is actually taking a look at Our Particular Situation and that He can see it.
That was the Story of Hagar in Genesis 16.

She ran away from home, she had been mistreated.
She had given up hope concerning her situation. In any case, it wasn’t her fault that Abraham impregnated her.

Now she has been maltreated.
Even God couldn’t be bothered about me.
“I’m just a Slave Girl”
Or so she thought.

Imagine the angel asking her where she was coming from and where she was going. Like he didn’t already know the answer!

That’s how God deals with us sometimes.

It may look like no one can see you and your situation.

It may look like God can’t be bothered.
I tell you this morning:

“God Sees you”

It’s left to you to take a good look and see Him too.
You matter to God – no matter what your present circumstances are.

Don’t forget that You Matter to God.

“Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the Lord , who had spoken to her. She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?”
Genesis 16:13 NLT
