Will The Real Moms Please Stand Up..?

Being a Real Mom doesn’t mean I am perfect… Whew, am I glad about that.

Sometimes we feel inadequate in spite of all our efforts.

You may feel like you aren’t doing enough for your kids, not spending enough time with them, not praying enough for or with them, not attending enough school parent functions, not this, not that … and the list is endless.

I feel like that too sometimes, in fact make that a lot of times.

But you know what? I draw consolation from the fact that I am making the best of efforts, I am trying as hard as I can, I am giving it all I have.

As long as I know that I am striving towards being the best Mom that I can be, then I am just fine.

I don’t have to fit into a certain Mommy mold that anyone else has for Moms, as long as I am giving this Mommy thing my best ‘Mom Shot’.

So, Dear Mom, keep striving and giving it the best shot that you’ve got.

Blessings!
