Rest In God
“For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
– 1 Thessalonians 4:7
Find rest in God.
I have come to understand that no matter the situation we find ourselves, God has provision for rest.
When you find yourself in a tough season of life, you need to find rest in God. When you begin to feel some doubts coming over you, it is time to rest.
Rest means relief from work or activity by sleeping, any relief from exertion; a state of quiet and relaxation.
Whenever you feel like the situation is beyond your understanding, it is wisdom to rest in God. That is the time you can say, “Jesus, take the wheel”.
So, how do you accept or enter this rest promised by God?

You switch in or tune in to ‘God’s station’ and just let His presence wash over you.
It is a time to lay still as you let worship serenade your spirit into the presence of God.
It will calm the fears, the tension, worry, questions, and you will find that strength will come for your day!
“And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world, you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!”
Enter his rest! His rest is in the secret place.
It is for you dear believer in Christ!
Prayer Moment
Thank You Lord for loving me so much.
I pray that I will find rest in You always.
Lord, when I am overwhelmed, please lead me to the Rock that is higher than I. as I take time to dwell in the secret place, Lord, help me to enter Your rest in every area of my life in Jesus’ name.
