Your Sacred Space

“He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.” – Psalm 91:1

I dwell in God’s presence.

Where do you go to retreat, refresh, and recharge daily? Where do you go to gather your thoughts and prepare for the day ahead? Or to reflect on the day that has passed? This space does not have to be anything elaborate or fancy.

It can be a special chair in the corner of your room, next to a small table decorated with some flowers or your favorite family picture.

It can be your workspace with encouraging quotes and visuals on the walls. Having a space that you can quietly retreat to and meet with God is so important for your mental health. Decide on the space you will call your own. Communicate with your family that this is YOUR sacred space.

Remember, “He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty” Say to yourself today, “I dwell in the secret place of the Most High God, and abide under His shadow.”

Prayer Moment

Lord, I thank You because Your thoughts for me are thoughts of good and never evil. I bless You because You desire my prosperity – spirit, soul and body. And so I ask that today, my eyes are open to see whatever toxic things are lurking around my environment, and I make room in my space for a sacred space, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
