{"id":8492,"date":"2023-07-22T22:48:30","date_gmt":"2023-07-22T22:48:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/momsachievingpurpose.com\/?p=8492"},"modified":"2023-07-22T22:48:30","modified_gmt":"2023-07-22T22:48:30","slug":"lessons-from-easter-part-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/familiesarising.ca\/fr\/2023\/07\/lessons-from-easter-part-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Lessons From Easter Part 1: The Presence of Pain Does Not Equate The Absence of God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This week in Christianity, usually referred to as the \u2018Holy Week\u2019, is such an important and fundamental part of the basis of our faith as Christians.\u2800<br>\u2800<br>And in spite of what may be happening around us, we should never lose sight of the importance of the events leading up to and the happenings around the death and the resurrection of Jesus.\u2800<br>\u2800<br>This week, as we remember, join me as I share some of my <a href=\"http:\/\/momsachievingpurpose.com\/2019\/07\/15\/beyond-the-eggs-teaching-your-kids-about-easter\/\">Easter<\/a> lessons with you.\u2800<br>\u2800<br>My first lesson for today is to remind you that \u201cThe presence of pain does not equate the absence of God\u201d.\u2800<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>My first lesson for today is to remind you that \u201cThe presence of pain does not equate the absence of God\u201d.\u2800<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2800<br>Oh, so much pain in the entire Easter story! Just so much pain. From the betrayal, the denials, the suffering, the bloodshed&#8230;all painful and heartbreaking.\u2800<br>\u2800<br>Just imagine the pain that <a href=\"http:\/\/momsachievingpurpose.com\/2019\/07\/16\/this-child-will-break-your-heart-5-parenting-lessons-from-the-mother-of-jesus\/\">Mary<\/a>, the mother of Jesus felt as she saw her dear son fulfilling His purpose by going to the cross ??\u2800<br>\u2800<br>That she knew this would happen didn\u2019t soften the blow, didn\u2019t diminish the pain or the hurt she must have felt! ??\u2800<br>\u2800<br>With all the pain, was there ever a moment that God\u2019s love was absent? \u2800<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/momsachievingpurpose.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/1E8224A9-23F0-4F99-83EB-0B79185FCE0E.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/momsachievingpurpose.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/1E8224A9-23F0-4F99-83EB-0B79185FCE0E-300x300.png\" alt=\"Lessons from Easter and Holy Week\" class=\"wp-image-8493\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u2800<br>Not for once was God unaware of the events surrounding this season. Not for once was God not involved. Not at any time was God\u2019s purpose not being fulfilled.\u2800<br>\u2800<br>Just in case you\u2019re in a situation of pain and chaos and you\u2019re doubting that God is in there with you; He is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He\u2019s never caught unawares by the situations in our lives and let me tell you that He\u2019s got you.\u2800<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/anchor.fm\/momsachievingpurpose\/episodes\/Lessons-From-Easter-Series---Part-1-ecen71\"><span style=\"color: #33cccc;\"><b><u>Listen to today\u2019s Podcast<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/anchor.fm\/familiesarising\/embed\/episodes\/Lessons-From-Easter-Series---Part-1-ecen71\" height=\"200px\" width=\"800px\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you using pain as a yardstick for whether you should obey and follow God\u2019s plan for your life? Are you saying, \u201cIf it\u2019s tough or painful, then it can\u2019t be God\u201d?\u2800<br>\u2800<br>Remember, that pain is present does not mean God is absent. Seek His face and don\u2019t forget that His strength is available for you at this time. \u2800<br>\u2800<br><strong><em>\u201cBut that\u2019s not all!
