Who We Are
Families Arising Foundation is a non-profit organization with a desire to empower and equip Immigrant families to thrive, flourish make a positive impact. Through our programs and services to individuals within the family and the family unit as a whole, we offer a comprehensive range of services to support immigrant families in their transition and settlement in Canada.
What We Do
At Families Arising, our services include courses, training, seminars, programs, community resources, events, books, webinars, groups, and activities.
Our aim is to empower families through education, mentoring, coaching opportunities, and culturally sensitive resources

Our Communities
As an institution that supports families to thrive, we support you through our communities that are committed to the well-being of your family.
Some of our communities through which we offer these programs are:
F.A.M.E. Mentoring COMMUNITY
The Family Ambassadors Mentoring Experience (F.A.M.E.) community is a 6-week program focused on supporting immigrant families living in diaspora to understand the fundamentals in the areas of mentorship parenting, marriage and family life, especially in a new country.
MEMBERSHIP COMMUNITY
Our membership community is a support community focused on supporting you in developing resilience in navigating unfamiliar territories in a new country. We offer courses, support, mentorship and a strong community that will give all you need to thrive and flourish in your family.
DAD YOUNIVERSITY
We partner with Dad Youniversity to provide resources for our men and dads. The organization is a men community and resource hub that caters to men in our community to grow and thrive in their individuality and to live out their best life as men & dads.
JUNIOR YOUNIVERSITY
We partner with Families Arising Global to offer resources in The Junior Youniversity which focuses on equipping kids, teens and youth to grow into leaders who impact their world. Our programs and events are open to kids & youth in our community.
How We Equip
We provide learning opportunities for members of our community through trainings, workshops, courses and other learning resources focused on the whole family.
We also have specialized and focused resources that our community members can get regular access to.

Parenting Workshops
We provide regular parenting and family-values workshops open to anyone in our community and our guests.
These workshops are based on tried and tested principles that will equip and empower parents to cater to the needs of their children.
Family Events
Get to hang out with others at some of our family-focused events that are for learning, community, fun and support.
It is an opportunity to meet and engage with other families and get the required support you may need as a parent.
Webinars
As part of our commitment to support families to thrive, we provide regular webinars to our community members.
These webinars are usually run virtually and are open to anyone joining from any part of the world.

Royal Readers
Our current program is our book club for school-aged children (ages 5-11), where they get an opportunity to read, interact and learn with other children across the world, under the supervision of our children mentors.
Our children aged 5-11 also have other amazing events that they can be a part of just for fun, learning and connecting with others.

Our Teen Pulse Leadership Initiative is a 6-Week Intensive Bootcamp where teenagers learn self-leadership skills that they need to grow and thrive as leaders and solution providers in their world.

Rooted Disciples
This is a faith-based learning platform specifically focused on teaching and equipping believers with the truth of God's word.
The programs taught in this school are based on Christian principles and it is specifically for those who want to grow deep roots in their faith and for those who seek to learn through biblical principles.
