Monday Motivation – Get off that Ladder Now

It’s a brand new week!

A New week is always another opportunity for new things. The greatest tragedy in life is to put in effort in the things that do not really matter.

I don’t know if you’ve ever had to work on a document that needed editing. You labor so much to edit, and you’re so glad to be done with your work, only to find out that you had been editing the wrong document all along. How painful that can be!

You stay in line to get something done, and now you’re at the top of the line and its your turn to be served. Then, you’re told you were on the wrong line all along. So much effort gone to waste.

When you find yourself in any task, before you pour your heart into it, be sure you’re putting in effort into the right thing – the things that matter.

“Our Greatest fear shouldn’t be of not getting to the top of the ladder in life. Our Greatest fear should be having our ladder up against the wrong wall” – Oluseye Ashiru

As you go out this week, weigh all your decisions. Be totally convicted that you’re in the right direction before you throw in all you’ve got.

It’s never too late to change direction. It’s never too late to course correct.

“Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it.”
― Ann Landers

Have a fruitful and productive week.
