1. Acceptance
Time For Mom Retreat is operated by Moms Achieving Purpose [MAP]. These terms and conditions, together with the sales page form the agreement between you and Moms Achieving Purpose. By booking a retreat ticket, you accept these terms and conditions.
2. MAP Mom Retreats
2.1. Participants on a Mom Retreat should be 18 years or over.
2.2. An application by you for attendance on a Moms Achieving Purpose Retreat may be subject to written acceptance by MAP. MAP reserves the right to refuse an application for attendance.
2.3. In order to get the most from the MAP Retreat, you should ensure you arrive promptly and attend each session in full.
2.4. Where your conduct is unacceptable (in the reasonable opinion of MAP), we reserve the right to request that you leave the MAP Retreat. No refund of fees will be made.
2.5. MAP will be entitled to change the venue and make minor changes to the timing and content of any MAP Retreat. In the unlikely event we have to replace our speaker, we shall make every effort to ensure the replacement speaker has similar expertise to the one advertised.
3. Fees
3.1. Deposits are non-refundable except as set out under Refunds and Cancellations or where your application to attend a Moms Achieving Purpose Retreat is not accepted by us.
3.2. Following acceptance of your application, you must pay the full amount of the fees in accordance to the automated payment plan before the start of the Moms Achieving Purpose Retreat.
3.3. If fees are not paid by the due date, MAP will be entitled to reallocate your place. You shall remain liable for the fees although we may, at our discretion, refund you a proportion of the fees where we have been able to reallocate your place.
3.4 Any extra drinks or food bought, and extra fees incurred at the retreat will be covered by you and not MAP.
4. Refunds and cancellation
4.1. Due to the nature and planning of our events refunds are currently not available.
4.2. Bookings are not transferable to another date for another retreat. Your reservation is transferable if you find your own replacement for the retreat you are paid for. It is not the responsibility of MAP to find you a replacement if you can no longer attend. Payment arrangements will need to be made between you and your replacement for reservations already paid. Please note that the Retreat cost is per head and not per room.
4.3. MAP may cancel any Moms Achieving Purpose Retreat at any time prior to its commencement. Except as set out in clause 4.4 below, MAP will repay any fees received from you in respect of the relevant Retreat or you can transfer your booking to another MAP retreat date. Please note that MAP will not refund travel costs for cancelled Retreats.
4.4. There is no entitlement to a refund where MAP is forced to cancel part or all of a Moms Achieving Purpose Retreat due to reasons beyond our reasonable control. However, refunds may be paid at MAP’s discretion.
4.5. We regret we cannot offer refunds where we have to change speakers or venues.
5. Feedback and Complaints
5.1. Moms Achieving Purpose Retreats are designed to provide an enjoyable quality experience for those attending. In the event of a complaint please make your complaint in writing and sent to [email protected] within 7 days of the Moms Achieving Purpose Retreat ending. We take any complaint seriously and will aim to investigate and respond as quickly as possible and in any event within 28 days.
6. Liability & Damages
6.1. Nothing excludes or limits MAP’s liability for personal injury or death due to its negligence.
6.2. Please ensure you take care of your personal possessions as MAP cannot accept any liability for them.
6.3. MAP will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or any equipment or personal belongings brought onto the property by you resulting from any events which are beyond the reasonable control of MAP.
6.4. Subject to the above, MAP’s liability to you is limited to the fees you have actually paid for the relevant Moms Achieving Purpose Retreat.
6.5 You are responsible for your allocated room during the period of the retreat. Any damage to your room or their contents incurred as a result of the acts, omissions or default on the part of you may result in a charge to remedy such damage. You will be liable for the cost of repairs carried out as a result of any damage caused to any property or equipment owned by the Venue by the negligence, wilful act or default of any such person.
7. Data
We will hold your data in accordance with MAP’s privacy policy. We will use the information you have provided to us for the purposes of contacting you with information relating to Moms Achieving Purpose Retreats and to conduct analysis for the purposes of providing future Moms Achieving Purpose Retreats.
8. General
8.1. The Contract contains all the terms agreed between you and MAP.
8.2. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Nigeria and the parties agree that the Nigerian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to this agreement.
